Program Description

Event Details

MakerGirl is a free program for everyone not just girls. Tweens between the ages of 8 and 12 may register to participate.

MakerGirl sessions teach beginning computer-aided design (CAD) and introduce how 3D printing can be used in different industries while featuring famous women in STEM. Sessions last one hour and 15 minutes.

The program is offered twice a month this fall.
A virtual session happens online on the second Tuesday of the month. Participants will need their device with internet access for virtual sessions.
An in-person session happens at the library on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Participants will have access to a computer with internet connection for in-person sessions at the library.  Space for these sessions is limited to 8 participants per session.

Registration is required through the MakerGirl website. They will collect the students' names, addresses, and contact details to send out their pre-session information, create their virtual profile on TinkerCad, and ship their prints to you afterwards.

MakerGirl Pflugerville Library Sessions are sponsored by EOS North America and provided free of charge.

Email Carmen at carmenl@pflugervilletx.gov for more information.
