This workshop is designed specifically for small Texas businesses. Led by Cherylann Campbell, a veteran HR professional with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, particularly with small, growing enterprises, this workshop will provide you with the tools and knowledge necessary to build strong hiring and retention processes from the start. You will learn best practices to avoid common pitfalls, master the art of branding and interviewing to attract, identify and secure top talent, as well as ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and make informed decisions about when to hire contractors versus employees. Additionally, you will understand basic labor laws that apply based on the size and type of your business.
