Showcase your art! Tweens ages 8-12 may register to pick up a starter art kit to create a tiny masterpiece. They may use the supplies provided or they may use their own.

  • The starter kit will include a stretched 4 x 4 canvas, watercolors and acrylic paints.
  • The final art piece must not exceed the size of the canvas.

All submitted artwork will be showcased in the glass display case located in the Great Hall at the library from June 1 to June 30 of 2026.   This is not a contest and there will not be prizes awarded. 

Tween Art Show Guidelines:

  1. Artwork must be original work of the entrant.
  2. Copyrighted images may not be used.
  3. AI generated images may not be used.
  4. Artwork must be suitable for all ages.
  5. Artwork will be displayed with first names and last initials only.  Ex. Singing Lions by Martin D.

Important Dates to Remember:

Fri 5/1 – Registration begins.
Fri 5/11 – Starter kits available for pickup.
Fri 5/29 – Last day to turn in artwork. Library closes at 6:00 PM.
Wed 7/1 – Wed 7/15 – Artists pick up their work to take it home.  Unclaimed pieces will be discarded.
