Storytime is a 30 minute filled with books, songs, and fun, followed by a short, hands-on learning activity.
Storytime introduces basic elements of literacy such as names of letters, numbers, colors, animals and more while it builds language and social skills.
Storytime features elements of other languages including Spanish, French, and ASL.
This event is for children up to age 5 with an adult caregiver. Materials provided on a first come, first served basis.
Tips for a Successful Storytime Visit
If you or your child is sneezing, coughing, or not feeling well, visit us another day.
Arrive on time so that you don't miss any of the fun.
Participate actively with your child. If it is physically comfortable for you, sit on the floor with your child.
Put your phone away and save adult conversations until after Storytime.
Wait to eat snacks until after Storytime.
If Storytime is not holding your child's attention, step out of the room until they are ready to rejoin the group.
