Each week features interactive activities that encourage creativity and promote reading, science, art, and more. It’s a great opportunity to learn, create, and make new friends in a welcoming space. All materials and supplies will be provided by the library. No registration needed – unless otherwise noted on the online calendar. Tween Book Club is part of Tween Hangout. It happens every first Wednesday from October through May. A limited number of free copies will be available at tween events the month prior to each book club meeting – first come, first served. The emphasis is on building an excited and supportive community. Note that this is a club for crafters, not an instructional class. Fiber arts included, but are not limited to crochet, knitting, macrame, embroidery, weaving, spinning, cross stitch, tatting and sewing. Not a fiber artist? No problem! Bring a different type of project to work on. Please bring a project to work on. While all ages are welcome at this group, anyone under the age of 12 must have an adult with them to participate.
