Tips for a Successful Tummy Time Visit

  • If you or your child is sneezing, coughing, or not feeling well, visit us another day.
  • Bring a toy for your baby to have before you leave to avoid their frustration.
  • Participate actively with your child. If it is physically comfortable for you, sit on the floor with your child.
  • Put your phone away and enjoy this time with your baby.
  • Wait to eat snacks until after Tummy Time.
  • If Tummy Time is not holding your child's attention, step out of the room until they are ready to rejoin the group.
  • Transition your baby to baby time and baby time once they start walking.
