Event Details
This program is recommended for children up to 36 months of age with an adult.
A come-and-go social time for babies, toddlers and their adults where they will share a variety of activities that support early learning. A playtime for the little ones and a time for adults to meet other families in the community in a very casual setting.
All children must have an adult with them to participate.
Tips for a Successful Open Play Visit:
- If you or your child is sneezing, coughing, or not feeling well, visit us another day.
- Bring a toy for your baby to have before you leave to avoid their frustration for leaving library toys behind.
- Participate actively with your child. If it is physically comfortable for you, sit on the floor with your child.
- Put your phone away and enjoy this time with your baby.
- Wait to eat snacks after play time.
- If open play is not holding your child's attention, step out of the room until they are ready to rejoin the group.
