Join us for an engaging crafting, reading, building, or exploring afternoon! Children 5-8 years of age with an adult caregiver are welcome to participate.  Materials provided on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Kid's Club runs approximately 30-45 minutes per program.

2/4 STEM--Lego building game

2/11 SPECIAL GUEST--Sean Gaskell, musician. Mr. Gaskell will play a number of musical selections using a kora, a West African harp, as well as share some of his personal experiences while studying in West Africa.  Audience members will learn about the history of the kora, how it is built, who typically plays it and the types of events it is often utilized at. Registration is required for this event. Please register every person (kids, siblings, adult caretakers, babies) who will be attending. 

2/18 BOOK CLUB – Can you dance like a peacock? by Rekha S. Rajan.  The book will be introduced and first 10 participants will get a free copy of it to keep.

2/25 SPECIAL GUEST--Austin Reptiles.  Registration required for this event.  Please register every person (kids, siblings, adult caretakers, babies) who will be attending.

Check in for registered participants begins 10 minutes before the program start time.  You must check in to keep your spot.  Unclaimed seats will be available to walk-ins when the program starts. 

Group Visits: Due to space limitations, we are not able to accommodate daycare groups, camps, or other community groups for our regularly scheduled programs or events. To arrange group visits to the library, please complete a Library Visit Request Form.

While signed releases may be used by the City when there is a reasonable expectation of privacy, they are not used at our public meetings, open houses or events. As a participant, please note that your photograph may be taken.
